College of Education for Human Sciences Organizes a Scientific Activity on Sustainable Development Goals
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Taha Ibrahim Shabib, and as part of the Environmental Education and Sustainable Development course activities for first-year students, the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Anbar organized a scientific activity. This initiative aimed to enhance students' awareness of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to consolidate the university's role in supporting developmental paths and community service.
The activity involved dividing students into working groups, where each group addressed one of the Sustainable Development Goals through research and analysis. They reviewed the prominent efforts and initiatives implemented by the University of Anbar, its colleges, and research centers to contribute to achieving these goals. Furthermore, students gave academic presentations in which they discussed the developmental dimensions of these goals and their importance in building a more sustainable society.
This activity aligns with the college's commitment to utilizing applied learning and developing students' skills in research, presentation, discussion, and teamwork. It also aims to instill a culture of sustainability among students and enhance their awareness of their future responsibilities toward society and the environment.
The activity was supervised by the instructor, Mr. Ahmed Basil Ahmed, who emphasized the importance of engaging students in scientific activities that contribute to developing their academic capabilities and strengthening their connection to contemporary developmental issues.
We wish our dear students all the best in their academic journey, with our hopes for their continued success and excellence. To view the students' projects, please click on the link below: [suspicious link removed]...
